"There would be no eulogies for Bob,
no photographs of his body would be sold in sundries stores,
no people would crowd the streets in the rain to see his funeral cortege,
no biographies would be written about him, no children named after him,
no one would ever pay twenty-five cents to stand in the rooms he grew up in."- The Assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford -

So yeah
STARDATE 23112007
Guerrilla photography
Over the last couple of months i've been having the discussion
about it with allot of people.
alot don't really understand the concept. Or just find it useless.
So hey, I thought I might try to explain it a bit better:
The whole thing is about not caring about what people say
you HAVE TO do in photography.
So what kinda rules do we have?.
You need proper photo lighting
You need a good digital SLR Cam
You need proper lenses made for the proper
product (canon lenses, for canon cams)
Well you get the idea.
In this day and age, I personally think you can FAKE a whole lot.
(Though only to a certain degree. Lets face it, nothing beats a
really expensive cam) here are some examples
of what you can do with some creativity and some post production.
----------PICTURE---------------------------BEHIND THE SCENES-------

Taken in a hall-way at a cinema with my home made ring light.
Yes that is Christmas-tree lighting,
though I would not recommend you using it due to dim lighting.
(You need something that packs a punch.. but oh well)

CAMERA? This one was taken with a disposable camera from Wal-mart.
I scanned it in, roughed it up in Photoshop, made it black and white,
and added some red. Grungy
I've had a lot of discussions with people about lenses.
Personly I'm a lens-freak, but I'm into trying to make it as special as I can
I believe you can use lenses from whatever you want,
but A LOT of photographers disagree. so I made this picture.

The lens is made out of my old broken video camera.
I forced the lens onto my camera.
(Note: macro lenses are by far the easiest to "make")

This one was taken at the local Washmachine joint,
wich had for some weird reason just one green corner,
with bulb lights everywhere
The downfalls with regular lights are a couple:
Flash works instantly; they fill the room with an intense light,
But just for a second (more or less) and then they disappear.
Regular light needs to be equally as intense/bright.
But they cannot just flash off and on.
This leaves you in a pretty hot and uncomfortable studio.
----------PICTURE---------------------------BEHIND THE SCENES-------

Right here in this homemade studio, I was using 4 work-lights
(you can buy those: "2 and 2" lights really cheap) and a white back-piece.
But be careful, without flash, you might have some difficulties
getting the shot sharp enough.
----------PICTURE---------------------------BEHIND THE SCENES-------

This works almost like a ring-light, though it doesn't show off that much.
And you have adjustable arms, so you can change the lighting.
Nice for close-ups and macro. Remember though, this is regular lights,
they don't give off nearly as much light as a flash, or work-light does.
So try lighted areas, or mix it up with the flash.
